Released in 1992 and recorded in Sandymount, St. Kildare, Ireland, Slide on This is Ronnie’s fifth solo album. It contains tracks written by Ronnie in collaboration with Stones’ backing vocalist, Bernard Fowler, as well as several covers and a remake of ‘Breathe on Me’, which originally appeared on Wood’s 1975 solo album Now Look. The personnel list is as impressive as ever, featuring the likes of U2’s The Edge, the Stones’ very own Charlie Watts, Simon Kirke of Bad Company and Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott.
